If you have not had a chance to visit our galleries in downtown Portland recently, we encourage you to do so. We have expanded since moving to Portland in October of 2000.

Please select image links below to view images from our two galleries adjacent to one another in
Portland’s historic Arts and Entertainment District.

Main Room
Upon entering our Chinese Art Gallery visitors will first view our Main Showroom which houses Ming and Qing Dynasty furniture and works of art. Also featured in this room is a selection of fine jade, lapis, and coral jewelry, along with our snuff bottle collection.

Exhibition Room
After viewing items in the main showroom visitors will enter the exhibition room. In addition to housing our current exhibitions, this room contains the majority of our jade, peking glass and porcelain collections. This room is designed to accommodate the collector with a viewing table, couch and fountain for relaxation and contemplation.

Mezzanine Level
Once finished in the exhibition room, visitors may ascend a staircase to the mezzanine level Antiquities Gallery. This room is home to our collection of ancient Chinese pottery, bronze and glass. Much of the research that is done at Jadestone Gallery is conducted in this room and it is also where the reference library and research equipment are kept.

Our prints, paintings and works of art gallery opened in June of 2001 and is adjacent to our Chinese Antiques Gallery. It houses our collection of more than 10,000 antique prints as well numerous modern Chinese paintings, Yixing teapots, stone carvings and antique Chinese textiles. Most of the Antique Prints date to the 18th and 19th centuries. The majority of these are botanical or animal (including birds, mammals, insects and fish) in subject matter — however we also carry numerous genre prints depicting people in traditional costume. We also offer custom framing at this location for the items we sell. It is our intention when framing to preserve, emphasize, and promote the historical importance and beauty of these art forms.
