Ivory tusk mountain Carved with a scholar and acolyte accompanied by a deer amongst a rocky setting with pine trees. Moulded gourd box covered box of lobed form A gourd cricket cage carved with designs, the lid reticulated with geometric pattern, the sides pierced with air holes.
A table screen carved with figural scene from zitan wood. Undecorated on the reverse. Fine Carved red lacquer canister of rounded cylindrical form carved in high relief with six friezes of decoration; the uppermost with peony, the second with taotie, the center with figures in a rocky landscape, then lotus, lappets and leiwen. Carved Red Lacquer Covered Box Of circular form with rounded sides, well carved with a central landscape image including 8 children and two ladies against intricate diaper patterns, some of the figures using pine branches as fly whisks and others preparing food, the sides of the box carved with peony against a geometric pattern, the raised foot rim carved with key fret, the base recessed.
Carved Red Lacquer 5 Lobed Dish,nicely carved with figures in a landscape inside the cavetto decorated with dragons and lotus. The underside carved with lotus designs around a raised foot rim and black lacquer base. Boxwood Brushpot (Bitong), finely carved with boy playing the flute on the back of an ox and another boy with a basket to the side. The reverse is carved with rockery and trees in high relief. Fine Bamboo Brushpot (Bitong), carved in high relief with figures in a mountainous landscape with waterfall, buildings, trees and cloud designs at the upper rim.
