Erick R. Schiess, director of Jadestone Gallery, is pleased to announce the formation of Jadestone Fine Asian Art, Appraisal and Consulting, LLC located in Portland Oregon’s thriving Pearl District. This new space is intended to better accommodate collectors by creating a private and scholarly environment. The Inaugural exhibition entitled “The Marks Collection of Chinese Snuff Bottles Part I” will open October 4th in Portland before traveling to Toronto for the 39th Annual Convention of the International Chinese Snuff Bottle Society from October 9th through October 13th. The Marks collection was formed over several decades and includes many fine and unusual Snuff Bottles. Both a printed and online catalogue will be available to accompany this exhibition.
